All of the following names are official enough to occupy a stamp:

VA:DC:MD: Winter Icebreaker Gather 2004

VA Winter Icebreaker

Winter Icebreaker

Icebreaker

Or any variation that fits as long as it has Icebreaker in it.

I highly encourage you to do an event stamp. At the last VA gather
we had about 4 event stamps and we enjoyed ALL of them.

I am going to bring a poster board and ask everyone to stamp onto it
and include any event stamps and hitchhikers that come too.

high expectations please, so far I suck at carving) I'll attempt a
stamp, but might scrap the idea if it's not working.

What does one usually do with an event stamp following
the event?

Thanks,

A nice, romantic walk along the beach followed by several hours of
sweet, sweet, love. What else?

I plan to retire the one for our Texas Event. That way
only those attending will ever get it.

It might be interesting to make an event stamp so that the event
name, or some other signicant part of it, can be easily cut off.
The stamp then goes into a new 'permanent' letterbox for all to
enjoy but only the attendees got the entire stamp.

I believe this is what JustBeth did with the "Gerbil Gathering"
(May '03) event stamp.
